Along with San Diego State University leaders, Carrier Johnson + CULTURE is proud to present the initial concept for the former Charger Stadium site. Rooted in the concept of the San Diego River, the design showcases a community connection and a ‘phenomenal’ fan experience. The plan develops 166 acres of Mission Valley that is prone to flooding.
The concept includes an expanded SDSU Research and Graduate Campus, a new stadium that will hold large entertainment events which is suitable for college football and major league soccer, significant amount of open public space, and a new dynamic and sustainable community for residents.
