Utopia/Dystopia – Hosted by Carrier Johnson + CULTURE

In The News |

As part of our new office launch in Los Angeles and on the occasion of the Urban Land Institute’s annual convention, Carrier Johnson + CULTURE will host a cocktail party and brainstorming session on the future of mixed-use development in Los Angeles. Planned as a fun, interactive session, called UTOPIA / DYSTOPIA: L.A. NOW!, is billed as an “Ideas Mixer for Real Estate Leaders on the Future of Mixed-Use Los Angeles.” Participants will include developers, building owners, architects and branding specialists.

“We’re going to discuss some of the key issues for the success of Los Angeles,” says Kyle Peterson, director – Los Angeles for Carrier Johnson + CULTURE. “Among the most important are city density, the aging resident population, a need for better mixed-use solutions and new approaches such as modular construction, co-living and micro-unit layouts.”

* Highlights of the event will be published in 2018.  Visit the Urban Land Institute campaign to learn more.
